Weeks after budding Tanzanian bongo flava artiste Ibrahim Abdallah Nampunga, popularly known as Ibraah, was allowed by his former boss Harmonize to exit his label free of charge, the artiste has already unveiled a fresh team of managers and business leads.

In a post on his Instagram page on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, Ibraah shared a video together with the new team, all of them dressed sharply in suits after holding their first-ever strategic meeting, and expressed his excitement over the journey ahead.

The new management of the ‘Copy and Paste’ crooner includes Tanzanian media mogul Oyawee Gang, who has been named as the main manager, while his longtime confidant and Kenyan music ambassador Don Tawamo has been appointed as the head business manager, forming what appears to be a power trio determined to steer his career with precision.

King Parazo, the CEO of Touchez Studio from Tanzania, has also been named as a business manager, adding industry weight to the team’s vision and execution.

In the Instagram video, the three, alongside other members of Ibraah’s inner circle, were seen walking out of a massive mansion where the meeting had been held before proceeding outside, where they posed for a series of photos, all smiles and camaraderie.

They later left the venue in a convoy, with Ibraah seen waving cheerfully from the open window of one of the vehicles, a moment that symbolised not only movement but a breakaway from the past and a cruise into a self-directed future.

The artiste seemed elated throughout, especially considering the tug-of-war that had characterised his controversial and widely followed exit from Harmonize’s Konde Gang label.

In a caption to the video, he hailed that the appointments marked the beginning of a new era, stating that he was delighted to be working with a new family that shared his artistic and entrepreneurial vision.

“NEW FAMILY love. Main manager @oyaa gang, Business manager @dona tawamo and @mrtoouchez,” he wrote, sealing the post with warmth and certainty.

Harmonize beef

On the same day Ibraah was allowed to exit the label, Harmonize also seized the moment to respond to damning allegations from Ibraah, who had claimed that the artiste had once dragged him into a private room with intentions to engage in acts that he described as suspicious acts.

Speaking in a video shared on his Instagram on Thursday, May 15, 2025, Harmonize vehemently denied the claims and expressed disbelief that Ibraah could stoop to such a level of attempting to destroy his reputation.

“And lastly, if I am not mistaken, referring to his claim that I called him into a private room and told him to disrespect his own mother—it is heartbreaking, and it is not as though I do not understand how much such words can ruin my image,” Harmonize said.

He further expressed that he felt deeply pained by the accusation because he knew there were people who might believe the narrative that Ibraah had put out.

However, he noted that he is a patient and understanding person and compared the situation to a parent whose child soils their hand, noting that a parent would never cut off their hand because of such a mistake.

“It is not that I do not know some people might believe it is true, but when a child soils your hand, you do not chop the hand off,” he said.

The ‘Ujana’ hitmaker went on to say that he had surrendered the matter to God, stating that he had already forgiven Ibraah, and that he was not seeking any form of apology from him, adding that the one who truly deserves to be apologised to is God Himself.

“First, I have handed it over to God. Second, I have forgiven him. Lastly, I am praying for him. I do not need any apology from him. If he sees the need to apologise, fine. If he feels there is something to ask forgiveness for from the people who heard those words, that is okay too. However, the one who deserves the apology most is God. If it pleases God, then the time will come. Let him speak to his God with a sincere heart, and that will earn him more blessings and help him go far,” he said.

Despite the intense back-and-forth exchange between the two artistes over the past few days, Harmonize clarified that he holds no grudge against Ibraah and extended an olive branch, stating that even though Ibraah had exited Konde Gang, he was still welcome to return and visit the label.

“As far as I am concerned, I have no problem with him. He is my brother, and Konde Gang will always remain his home,” he added.
