The already tense feud between Tanzanian stars Harmonize and his former signee Ibraah took a new turn on the night of Sunday, May 11, 2025, when Diamond Platnumz publicly shared Ibraah’s latest song on his Instagram page—an action that triggered an immediate and furious reaction from Harmonize.

Not one to hold back, Harmonize rushed to Instagram and posted a blistering rant, clearly aimed at the ‘Mtasubiri’ crooner who at one time also happened to be his boss.

In his post, he accused the WCB boss of desperation and jealousy, saying he only reposted Ibraah’s music to make himself look like a hero in the heat of the feud.

“He can’t stand being outshined, so now here he comes, just so he can appear like he’s the one who discovered the young boy.”

He went further, suggesting that Diamond’s move was driven by bitterness and a need to stay relevant

“No matter how much you reject him, he clings like someone who wasn’t paid 600!”

Harmonize’s outrage did not end with words, as he went on to repost the photo Diamond shared using Ibraah’s song as the cover, this time adding a large angry emoji over it to show his strong disapproval of the WCB boss’s apparent support for his rival.

He wrapped up his rant with yet another cryptic swipe, claiming it was a downgrade for a globally celebrated artiste like Diamond to back lesser-known acts, warning that he risked shrinking his own stature and eventually blending in with the very small-timers he was trying to uplift.

“Hapendi kabisa kaka mkubwa Swahili singer ukichanganya na Chaka tu Chaka yake ya Tarime.” Loosely translated to: (“He really can’t stand big brother—the Swahili singer—especially when you mix it with just a little bit of his ‘Chaka tu Chaka’ Tarime flavor.”)

Harmonize vs. Ibraah

The feud between Harmonize (Rajab Abdul Kahali) and Ibraah (Ibrahim Nampunga) burst into the public domain on the afternoon of May 11, 2025, when Harmonize took to Instagram with a series of emotional and furious posts accusing Ibraah of betrayal, arrogance, and unpaid debts.

“You might think I didn’t invest anything,” Harmonize posted, “but know that I had already invested what was inside my strength and my worth in you.”

He said he felt used and abandoned by someone he treated like a younger brother, only for Ibraah to walk away from the label and act as though Harmonize meant nothing to his career.

In one post, Harmonize mocked Ibraah’s perceived lack of talent, claiming he only trended on lies and sympathy.

He called him a bastard but followed it with an emotional confession that he still loves him with all his heart, revealing a strange mix of anger and lingering affection.

“Personally, I know you don’t even show any signs of that… whoever lied to you, I feel sorry for you,” he wrote, adding, “There are times I really pity you, my child… if I could leave you, know that I wouldn’t be able to.”

Ibraah’s Response

Ibraah, whose heated exchange with Harmonize began after he went public with claims that he was being asked to pay Ksh48 million to leave the Konde Gang label, wasted no time before firing back at the insults Harmonize had thrown his way.

While expressing heartbreak over Harmonize’s public attacks, he accused his former boss of trying to sabotage him behind the scenes.

“You are a mirror, but with fog,” he wrote, suggesting Harmonize was proud, spiteful, and manipulative.

In a shocking claim, Ibraah accused Harmonize of once calling him into a private room under suspicious circumstances, implying a shady agenda.

“I know your goal is to ensure I completely lose help so that I come back to ask you for rent, and you call me into your room like you did the first time—and your attempt failed,” he wrote. “I am not food, bro. I am a street guy.”

Still, Ibraah acknowledged Harmonize’s role in his rise and thanked him for his help, but warned that Harmonize was using money and power to control narratives and silence him.

“Thanks, because even if I talk, my words as a poor man don’t carry the same weight as yours, a rich man. And I know your goal is to make me completely lose help, so that I come back again begging for rent, and you call me into your room like the first time, and your attempt failed,” he wrote.
