Tanzanian hitmaker Harmonize has ignited a bitter online firestorm with his former signee Ibraah, unleashing a series of venomous Instagram posts, accusing the young artiste of betrayal, arrogance, and failing to honour debts owed to Konde Gang.

In his first salvo on Sunday, May 11, 2025, Harmonize, born Rajab Abdul Kahali, furiously lashed out at Ibraah, who recently expressed interest in parting ways with his Konde Gang label, saying that although it may appear that he had not invested much, the truth is that he had poured his heart, soul and dreams into nurturing the budding star.

“You might think I didn’t invest anything, but know that I had already invested what was inside my strength and my worth in you,” he fumed, accusing Ibraah of publicly turning on him and trying to tarnish his name.

The “Single Again” crooner didn’t hold back, describing Ibraah as someone who now tells the world that Harmonize is a nobody despite the fact that he once pampered him like a beloved younger brother.

He scoffed at the singer’s recent social media success, claiming it was built on lies.

“I’m also trending so people can know and see the truth, but you will pay, bro… don’t need you anymore,” Harmonize ranted, warning that payback for the support and investment would be inevitable.

In an even more aggressive post, Harmonize’s tone turned mocking and pitiful, claiming Ibraah looked like a woman in comparison to his bad boy image, while adding that the young artiste had no visible signs of talent or potential, describing his attempts to flourish as mere delusion.

“Personally, I know you don’t even show any signs of that… whoever lied to you, I feel sorry for you,” he wrote, adding, “There are times I really pity you, my child… if I could leave you, know that I wouldn’t be able to.” In the same breath, he called him “bastard” and confessed, “I love you until my last breath” — a strange cocktail of bitterness and deep-seated attachment.

Ibraah’s response

Not one to stay silent, Ibraah, known to his fans as Chinga, responded with his own emotional post, expressing shock and heartbreak over Harmonize’s relentless online attacks.

While choosing not to expose what he called Harmonize’s evil heart, Ibraah claimed he had gone out of his way to avoid journalists just to protect Harmonize from being dragged through the mud online.

“You are a mirror but with fog,” he wrote — a mirror fogged with pride and spite.

Yet, it was Ibraah’s next claim that stunned many.

In an apparent reference to a past encounter, he accused Harmonize of once calling him into a room with questionable intentions.

He condemned the suspicious encounter and tore into Harmonize, accusing him of plotting to drag him back to the label only to corner him in secret rooms and execute some sneaky agenda.

“I know your goal is to ensure I completely lose help so that I come back to ask you for rent, and you call me into your room like you did the first time and your attempt failed,” he alleged, bluntly stating, “I am not food bro. I am a street guy.”

Despite the insults hurled his way, Ibraah maintained a tone of humility in parts of his response, admitting that Harmonize’s help had been significant in his rise and expressing gratitude.

“Your help in my life has been great, you helped me a lot Brother Konde,” he said.

Yet, he also accused Harmonize of using his financial muscle to silence him and deny him future opportunities.

“Thanks, because even if I talk, my words as a poor man don’t carry the same weight as yours, a rich man. And I know your goal is to make me completely lose help, so that I come back again begging for rent, and you call me into your room like the first time, and your attempt failed,” he wrote.

The feud, which had been simmering silently for months following Ibraah’s quiet exit from Konde Gang, has now erupted into full public view, with fans taking sides and the East African entertainment scene abuzz with speculation over what triggered such raw outbursts.

While neither artiste has hinted at taking the legal route, Harmonize has made it clear he’ll leave no stone unturned to ensure Ibraah settles his debt to the label—his former home, which he fondly credits for ushering him into the limelight and placing his name on the global map.
