Former Konde Gang signee Angela denies getting pregnant for Harmonize
Angela was among the top bongo singers who signed with Konde Boy Gang. This is after proving she would be an asset at the company but little did she know the ending would be bitter.
Angela, who is no longer part of Konde Gang, recently shed light on alleged rumours claiming Harmonize terminated her contract after she got pregnant for him.
Speaking to Millard Ayo, Angela denied ever getting involved with her former boss as alleged.
“No, we have never been in a relationship and he has never hit on me,” Angela said.
She went on to deny rumors claiming pregnancy led to her contract getting terminated.
“No, I have never been pregnant for him.” Angela went on to add.
Speaking on the same Angela disclosed that her termination saw her loose almost everything including her car.
Angela treated unfairly
From what she said is that Harmonize fired her after confiding in his manager about her health issues.
“I was having health issues with my legs and I told the manager, so I don’t know what he went to tell Harmonize, the next thing I saw was them taking away my car and the contract being terminated,” Angela went on.
However, her interview came at a time when another Konde Gang signee, Cheed was shown the door.
According to Cheed, Harmonize and management treated him unfairly.
“After they terminated our contracts, we wanted to know why they did that and so, we went to seek help from Basata, National Arts Council,” Cheed explained following untimely dismisal.
“The contract says if you terminate the contract as an artiste, you are supposed to pay the record label Tsh1 billion (Ksh 58 million) but if the management terminates the contract, they will pay you Tsh10 million (Ksh581,000.),” Cheed went on to explain the situation.
Just like Angela, Cheed too lost his car.
“They wanted their cars back. And we wanted to take the right channels so we asked for help from Basata, because the cars are owned by the company and were part of the contract. But there was a certain small clause that said if you sign a contract with Harmonize Entertainment, all rights will be the company’s.”
