Jesus Christ Companion Ministries (JCM) head pastor Ben Muthee Kiengei has shared a prophetic message just hours after rolling out the red carpet for two United Kingdom pastors who are visiting the country for an evangelical mission.

In the post on Facebook on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, Kiengei shared that he had accorded the two men of God the most dignified welcome possible and insisted that he had done so because he understands that, as a preacher, he may also be privileged to receive the same kind of reception if he were ever in a similar position.

“Whoever welcomes a prophet as a prophet will receive a prophet’s reward, and whoever welcomes a righteous person as a righteous person will receive a righteous person’s reward,” he wrote on Facebook.

He also revealed that the pastors are the renowned Pastor Paul Morris, one of the senior reverends of Hope Church in Rotherham, United Kingdom, while the other, who also has Kenyan roots, is Reverend Ndegwa PN of Sheffield University, also based in the UK.

Kiengei added that the two will have their itineraries in the coming days in Ruiru and Turkana counties, where they will be spreading the gospel and calling upon Kenyans to embrace the salvation of Jesus Christ.

“This morning, I have received in Kenya Pastor Paul Morris, Senior Pastor of Hope Church Rotherham in the United Kingdom, together with Reverend Ndegwa PN from Sheffield University… Pastor Morris and Reverend Ndegwa are in Kenya for missions in Ruiru and Turkana, which is in line with the compassionate gospel of changing lives,” he added in the post.

Kiengei then shared photos of himself at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport arrival bay, where he warmly embraced them as he welcomed them to the country.

The pastors appeared thrilled to meet Kiengei, and they exchanged heartfelt conversations before proceeding to the designated pick-up vehicles that Kiengei had arranged for them.

The pastors had also been accompanied by some white guests from the UK, and they too were captured beaming in the photos, which have since amassed over 9,000 likes just eight hours after being posted.

Kiengei’s UK airport drama

The warm welcome Kiengei extended to the men of God comes just weeks after he shared about an ordeal he experienced during a trip to the United Kingdom alongside former Kameme FM radio presenter Wanja Nyarari.

During a sermon on April 28, 2025, at his church, Kiengei revealed that they had travelled to the UK with Nyarari and their friend Mofarm before finding themselves completely lost in a massive airport and unable to trace the gates where they were supposed to board their return flight.

As if that was not enough, Kiengei disclosed that at the same moment they were getting lost, Mofarm got arrested by airport officials for being in possession of a knife, further escalating the situation that was already tense.

“We did not know that the distance we were supposed to cover was like going from here at JCM to Makuyu,” he added. “We were supposed to use the underground train, but we did not know where we were supposed to board it. At the same time, we were trying to call Mofarm, but his phone was not going through because we also did not know that he had been arrested,” shared Kiengei.

Kiengei, in the hilarious sermon, also narrated that even after finally locating the trains to Terminal Five, which they had spent hours searching for, another incident occurred as airport officials also restrained him after discovering anointing oil in one of his bags.

He revealed, however, that the officials softened after he explained that he was a pastor, and surprisingly, they even asked him to anoint them after his explanation satisfied their concerns.

“For example, when they inspected my bags and saw that I had anointing oil, they told me that I could not enter with it, but when I told them that I am a bishop from JCM and it was anointing oil, they changed their tone and asked me to anoint them. As for Mofarm, his bag was found to contain a knife which he had received as a gift, and they assumed he had malicious intent, which is why they arrested him. We searched for him until the British Airways plane left us, and we had to return home using Kenya Airways,” narrated the clergyman.
