Babu Owino shows up at Rhema Feast as thousands gather at Uhuru Park for final night

Embakasi East MP Babu Owino has attended the Christian convention Rhema Feast at Uhuru Park and shared a message expressing his readiness to experience God during the final day of the widely celebrated revival summit.
In a video he shared on Instagram on Friday, September 4, 2026, Babu is seen arriving at Uhuru Park, where the event was being held, dressed in a full-neck sweater, a suit coat and white trousers.
He proceeded to greet several officials who ushered him through to a designated section where seats had been reserved for prominent guests alongside other leaders attending the gathering.
During that time, he is seen greeting and interacting with several of those present, who kept waving and extending their hands as they sought to greet the lawmaker.
Later, while sharing the video, Babu confirmed that he had indeed made the decision to attend the event, describing the gathering as a powerful night of prayer as he looked forward to experiencing the spiritual atmosphere at the revival summit.
“At Rhema Feast for a night of prayer,” he wrote.
Powerful Christian gathering
Rhema Feast 2026 is a five-day Christian gathering being held at Uhuru Park in Nairobi from Monday, August 31, to Friday, September 4, bringing together worshippers for preaching, prayer, worship and biblical teaching under the theme “Come, Let Us Rebuild”.
The gathering is convened by Ruach Assemblies founder and Senior Pastor Reverend Julian Kyula, who established Rhema Feast in 2015 under Ruach Assemblies, a ministry of The Purpose Centre Church. The 2026 edition has brought together prominent ministers and worship leaders from Kenya and across Africa for five consecutive days of ministry.
The feast officially opened on Monday, August 31, with the first day featuring ministry from Deliverance Church Umoja Senior Pastor Bishop JB Masinde, Lady Bishop Funke Felix-Adejumo, Minister Ntokozo Mbambo and Minister Njoki Munyi.
The opening day set the tone for the five-day gathering, with worshippers converging at Uhuru Park for prayer, worship and messages centred on the theme of rebuilding and spiritual renewal.
Day Two on Tuesday, September 1, featured Apostle Isi Igenegba, Jubilee Christian Church Bishop Kathy Kiuna, South African gospel minister Dr Tumi, Lady Bishop Funke Felix-Adejumo and Apostle Michael Orokpo, giving worshippers another packed programme of preaching and worship.
The third day on Wednesday, September 2, brought another line-up of prominent ministers, with Ruach Assemblies founder Reverend Julian Kyula, Apostle Mignonne Kaberia, Apostle Michael Orokpo, Deliverance Church Umoja Senior Pastor Bishop JB Masinde, House of Treasures Ministries founder Apostle Felix Okoh and Apostle Grace Lubega taking turns to minister.
Day Four on Thursday, September 3, was headlined by some of the most anticipated ministers at the gathering, including Koinonia Global Ministries founder and lead pastor Apostle Joshua Selman and gospel worship minister Sinach.
They were joined by Apostle Mignonne Kaberia, Ruach Assemblies founder Reverend Julian Kyula, The Covenant Nation Senior Pastor Pastor Poju Oyemade and House of Treasures Ministries founder Apostle Felix Okoh. The day drew particular attention following Selman’s highly anticipated appearance, which was met with loud cheers and jubilation from worshippers at Uhuru Park.
The grand finale on Friday, September 4, has brought together another heavyweight line-up, with Phaneroo Ministries International founder Apostle Grace Lubega, Ruach Assemblies founder Reverend Julian Kyula, Pastor T Mwangi, Pastor George Macharia, worship minister Dunsin Oyekan, Dominion City Worldwide founder and Senior Pastor David Ogbueli, gospel minister Sinach, The Covenant Nation Senior Pastor Pastor Poju Oyemade, Apostle Lee Wambugu and Koinonia Global Ministries founder and lead pastor Apostle Joshua Selman among those ministering.
