Pastor Kanyari prophesies breakthrough for young man battling masturbation addiction
Salvation Healing Ministry founder Pastor Kanyari has prophesied a breakthrough for a young man who has struggled with masturbation addiction for eight years.
Speaking during a church service at his Njiiru-based church on Thursday, March 12, 2026, Pastor Kanyari addressed the young man directly, explaining that his struggle was both spiritual and personal.
He described masturbation as a habit that can hinder natural desire for a partner and identified it as a spirit that needed to be confronted through prayer.
“You mean you have been masturbating for eight years? Masturbation, because I know some of you, my church members, don’t know, is where a man finds ways to satisfy himself sexually. And that means he may never have the desire for a woman,” the preacher said.
According to Kanyari, the young man had travelled all the way from Kitale in Trans-Nzoia County, spending his own fare, to seek spiritual guidance and intervention. Recognising this dedication, the pastor declared that the spirit behind the addiction would be removed.
“It’s a spirit, and this young man has come all the way from Kitale, Trans-Nzoia County, to seek my prayers. Imagine, he has travelled all the way and spent his fare to come and seek my help,” Kanyari said.
In a dramatic session of prayer, Pastor Kanyari led the man through a spiritual intervention, invoking God’s name to cast out the spirit of masturbation.
In a video shared on TikTok, the young man is seen falling once Kanyari started lashing at the demons he claimed had possessed him and dramatically falling to the ground as church members also began to pray.

The pastor used the moment to educate his congregation about sexual habits and their potential spiritual and emotional impact, urging members to approach such struggles with prayer, understanding, and compassion rather than judgement.
“And because of that, I declare that the spirit of masturbation is done, and I declare an end to that spirit now in Jesus’ name. Now I pray for the spirit to vanish and depart from this man,” Kanyari added.
Naipei’s warning after joining Kanyari’s church
Kanyari’s emotional prayer for the young man comes just days after his friend, social media personality Marion Naipei, issued a sharp warning to people who do not give offerings in church.
“You guys are all over here lashing at me, yet you never even give offerings in church. You do not give offerings, I am sure. And that means you are living on mercy,” she said.
Marion said she is frustrated with the unsolicited advice and criticism from people online, claiming that it is hypocritical to lecture her when they themselves do not contribute to the church.
According to her, those who fail to give offerings are only surviving by the grace of God, and if not for divine mercy, their lives could be far worse or even at risk.
“It’s only that God feels like giving you chances; otherwise, some of you would have very bad lives or some of you would even be dead by now,” Marion added.
She stressed that she will not tolerate comments telling her to stop bragging or to hide the fact that Kanyari pays her bills and even her school fees. For Marion, such advice not only bores her but also provokes her anger.
“And don’t even lecture me or tell me to stop bragging or anything. Such advice makes me bored and even angry,” she said.
