Kenyan musician Willy Paul has announced plans to unveil new management to help better market and promote his music brand.

In a statement on Thursday, January 2, 2025, Willy Paul informed his fans that his new management would be made public in a couple of days without giving a precise date.

Willy Paul, whose talent peaked as a gospel artist, attributed the decision to advice from Kenyans, who he claimed implored him to find a better team to help run his artistic affairs.

This was after a fracas was witnessed in a concert in which Tanzanian artist Diamond Platnumz was among the headline acts on Saturday, December 7, 2024.

Videos shared online showed Pozze being manhandled while making his way to the stage to perform, sparking a widespread uproar.

Following the incident, several of Willy Paul’s supporters requested he get a manager to help him iron out such issues in the future.

While heeding their request, Willy Paul acknowledged the support he had received throughout his music career and vowed to reciprocate through better music in 2025.

“The love you people have shown me over the years is tremendous,” Pozze’s statement read in part.

“Leaving me with no choice but to listen to you and make things right. Now let’s make this the best year, fam,” he added.

Willy Paul’s bold announcement comes after he promised to come up with his show following the misunderstanding at the Furaha City Festivals.

Accompanied by veteran comedian Eric Omondi, the ‘Kuu Kuu‘ hitmaker announced plans to stage his first-ever solo show on February 14, 2025.

In a show of support for the musician, Eric Omondi appealed to Kenyans to turn up and support one of their own during the Valentine’s Day solo performance.
