IShowSpeed’s song ‘Champions’ officially added to FIFA World Cup 2026 album

Popular streamer and YouTube personality IShowSpeed has achieved a major career milestone after FIFA officially added his viral football anthem, Champions, to the FIFA World Cup 2026 Official Album.
In an announcement made on Thursday, June 4, 2026, through an official FIFA promotional poster, the organisation confirmed that Champions had been added to the tournament’s official album, fulfilling its earlier promise to the content creator that it would be in touch regarding the song’s inclusion.
Viral success sparks global attention
The confirmation marks a significant achievement for IShowSpeed, whose football-themed track became an instant hit among fans after its release on May 31, 2026.
The song quickly spread across social media platforms, earning millions of views and sparking widespread calls for FIFA to recognise it as part of the World Cup’s official music lineup.

The music video amassed more than 500,000 views within its first two hours before surpassing 10 million views in the days that followed.
The song’s energetic stadium-style production, football-inspired lyrics and celebration of the 48 nations participating in the expanded FIFA World Cup 2026 helped make it a fan favourite.
Many supporters began referring to Champions as the unofficial anthem of the tournament. Online campaigns soon emerged, with fans urging FIFA to include the track in its official World Cup music collection.
IShowSpeed, whose real name is Darren Watkins Jr., has built a massive global following through his livestreams and online content. \
The American creator is well known for his passion for football and his admiration for Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo.
His football-related content has attracted millions of viewers and helped establish him as one of the most recognisable internet personalities in the world.
FIFA responds to growing demand
As momentum behind the song continued to grow, FIFA acknowledged the campaign. Earlier interactions between the organisation and IShowSpeed fueled speculation after FIFA’s World Cup account responded to requests regarding the song by stating, “We will be in touch.”

Thursday’s announcement confirmed that the governing body had followed through on that commitment.
The FIFA World Cup 2026 Official Album is scheduled for global release on June 5, 2026 through FIFA Sound and Universal Music.
The 18-track project features some of the biggest names in international music, including Shakira, Burna Boy, The Rolling Stones, LISA, Daddy Yankee, Future, Tyla, Ava Max, Jelly Roll and Carín León.
The tournament’s official anthem, Dai Dai, performed by Shakira and Burna Boy, headlines the album. However, the inclusion of Champions alongside such high-profile artists represents a remarkable achievement for a creator whose music career has largely developed through digital platforms.
