IShowSpeed reveals he is ready for marriage if he finds the right person

American streamer Darren Watkins Jr., popularly known as IShowSpeed, has opened up about his ambitions to get married and have children, revealing that he would settle down if he found the right person.
Speaking during a gaming stream with Streamer University founder Kai Cenat on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, Speed said he would be open to getting married once he found the right partner rather than tying his decision to a specific age.
“Do you want to get married, Kai? When do you want to get married? You mean 30? For me, I would say if I find the right person, yes, I get married,” Speed said.
The American streamer then revealed that Kai had been predicting that he would have children before him, prompting Speed to ask their viewers to weigh in on the playful debate.
“And Kai is saying I will have kids before him. What do you think, chat?” he asked.

On his part, Kai Cenat said he also wants to get married and suggested that he could settle down when he turns 30 or even earlier.
“Yes, I want to get married. I want to get married when I get 30 or even maybe like sooner,” Kai said.
The AMP streaming house star then addressed the possibility of becoming an uncle, joking that he did not currently have children while insisting that Speed would probably become a father before him.
“And I am not trying to, like, be an uncle or something. I do not have kids, and I think Speed is going to have kids before me,” Kai said.
Speed, however, disagreed with his friend and pointed out that Kai is older than him, arguing that this would make it more likely for him to have children first.
“Well, Kai, I do not think so. You are older than me. You are going to have kids before me,” Speed responded.
Kai remained convinced that Speed would beat him to fatherhood and once again turned to their audience for predictions about when he would have children.
“No, I think you are still going to have kids before me. Chat, what age do you think I will have kids?” Kai asked.
Speed then made it clear that despite his uncertainty about when it might happen, having children is part of his future plans.
“I do want kids, though. I know that. I want,” Speed said.
Kai subsequently read a viewer’s prediction that he would have children at the age of 35 but admitted that he was not convinced.
“I see someone saying I will have it at age 35. I am not sure, but I do not think so,” Kai said.
