Gospel music duo Wapendwa Muziki have announced that they are expecting their first child.
The couple, Mesh Mpendwa and Ninah Mpendwa, shared the news with their followers in a heartfelt message of gratitude and faith. The two, who are known for their inspirational songs and strong Christian message, said that their journey has been one of patience and total trust in God’s timing.
As they shared the news on their YouTube channel on Thursday, October 9, 2025, Ninah said, “Failure is impossible with our God. Many of you have watched us grow. You have been there since day one. I pray that God will elevate you.”
“And then you guys said we need a baby. All these things need patience and God. I pity the people who have not yet known Christ. If you are watching this video, maybe this is an opportunity to give your life to Christ.”
The couple went on to describe their pregnancy as a testimony of faith, saying that it serves as a reminder of God’s promises. “This is a reminder that God is not a man to lie. Every waiting womb out there, may you receive. God is real,” they said. Their message has been described as one of encouragement to other couples who are waiting on God for a breakthrough.
