Stephen Letoo’s message after visiting family of late TikToker Gracious Teyian
Media personality Stephen Letoo has shared an emotional message following his visit to the family of the late TikToker Gracious Teyian in Kajiado West, expressing solidarity and support as they prepare to lay her to rest.
In a post on Facebook on Saturday, September 20, 2025, Letoo said he led a team of creatives from various counties, including Kajiado, Narok, Marsabit, Samburu, Baringo, and Laikipia, to meet Teyian’s family.

He noted that the team’s visit was aimed at showing unity and offering full support to the bereaved family ahead of the funeral scheduled for Wednesday.
“This afternoon I led a team of Maa Creatives from Kajiado, Narok, Marsabit, Samburu, Baringo and Laikipia to visit the family of the late Gracious Teyian in Kajiado West,” he wrote.
Letoo highlighted the emotional nature of the visit, describing it as a moment to stand with their colleague’s loved ones and ensure they feel backed by the wider creative community.
He commended the team for their dedication and collective effort, emphasising that the gesture was a deserved tribute to Teyian, whose impact in the digital space resonated with many.
“We assured the family of our full support as we prepare to lay Teyian to rest on Wednesday.”
The media personality also reflected on the importance of rallying around families in times of loss, noting that such moments provide both comfort and strength. He stressed that the creative community remains committed to honouring Teyian’s memory and supporting her family through this difficult period.

Deep grief
Earlier on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, Letoo shared a moving post saying he was in deep grief after learning of the untimely death of the famous Maasai TikToker.
In a Facebook post, he described how his heart was shattered after receiving the shocking news, adding that Meyoki’s passing had a profound impact on him personally and on the wider Maa community.
“My heart is shattered and broken. It is with shock that I last night received the sad news of the untimely death of my friend Gracious Teyian Meyoki,” he wrote.
Letoo recalled that he had last spoken to Meyoki just a week before her death, when she had invited him and other friends to attend the graduation ceremony of their best friend, Paul Simat.
“When we last spoke with her last week, she had invited me alongside all her other friends to attend the graduation ceremony of Paul Simat. Her passing on after such a short illness is not only a big blow to the family but also to the entire Maa community,” he added.
Letoo urged followers and members of the public to keep Meyoki’s family in their prayers and to offer support during this difficult period.
He acknowledged the pain the family is enduring and encouraged the community to stand together in mourning.
“I can only imagine the pain the family is going through right now. As we mourn her passing on, let us keep them in our prayers and offer all the necessary support. Rest Easy Gracious .”
