Stephen Letoo reveals final send-off plans for late Maasai TikToker Gracious Teyian

Media personality Stephen Letoo has shared detailed arrangements for the memorial and final send-off of his favourite Maasai TikToker, Gracious Teyian Meyoki, who passed away after a brief illness.

In an update on Facebook on Friday, September 19, 2025, Letoo disclosed that he, alongside a group of Maa Creatives, joined Paul Simat, Meyoki’s partner, and her family in Kajiado County to coordinate the upcoming events.

The meeting brought together teams from Kajiado West and Nairobi to harmonise efforts in supporting the bereaved family.

“This evening I, alongside a group of Maa Creatives, joined Paul Simat and the family of our late dear friend Gracious Teyian in Kajiado County to put our heads together as we prepare for her final send-off. We have since harmonised all the teams from Kajiado West and Nairobi and will be holding a joint meeting tomorrow in Kibiku,” Letoo wrote.

He added that another team had been deployed to Olmeroi on Saturday to join the family and offer comfort during this difficult period.

Letoo confirmed that the memorial service is scheduled for Monday in Ngong, followed by the final send-off on Wednesday, September 24, 2025.

He also urged members of the public to support the family financially.

“The Maa Creatives have equally deployed another team to Olmeroi on Saturday to join the family and comfort them during this difficult moment. Plans have been finalised for the memorial service on Monday in Ngong and later her final send-off on Wednesday, 24th 2025. We call upon all Kenyans to support the family during this difficult moment,” he added.

Letoo’s message comes after he expressed profound grief over Meyoki’s untimely passing, describing how her sudden death had deeply affected him and the wider Maa community.

In a Facebook post on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, Letoo described how his heart was shattered after receiving the shocking news.

“My heart is shattered and broken. It is with shock that I last night received the sad news of the untimely death of my friend Gracious Teyian Meyoki,” he wrote.

Letoo recalled that he had last spoken to Meyoki just a week before her death, when she had invited him and other friends to attend the graduation ceremony of their best friend, Paul Simat.

Her sudden passing after a brief illness left many in shock, as she was widely admired for her vibrant presence on TikTok and her close ties to the community.

“When we last spoke with her last week, she had invited me alongside all her other friends to attend the graduation ceremony of Paul Simat. Her passing on after such a short illness is not only a big blow to the family but also to the entire Maa community,” he added.

Letoo urged followers and members of the public to keep Meyoki’s family in their prayers and to offer support during this difficult period.

He acknowledged the pain the family is enduring and encouraged the community to stand together in mourning.

“I can only imagine the pain the family is going through right now. As we mourn her passing on, let us keep them in our prayers and offer all the necessary support. Rest Easy Gracious 💔💔.”
