Jeridah Andayi says it’s time to celebrate men supporting women’s success

Veteran radio presenter Jeridah Andayi has called for recognition of both men and women in the journey to success, saying that support from men plays a key role in helping some women grow.

On Friday, April 4, 2026, she said it is time to appreciate the effort of men who stand behind women as they build their lives and careers, while also acknowledging women who push themselves forward.

She explained that success does not happen in one way, and people should accept different paths. She said some women rise with strong support systems, while others manage to succeed on their own. She added that both journeys deserve to be seen and respected.

“Let’s celebrate the men pushing women to success and the women pushing themselves to success,” Jeridah Andayi said.

She said many women who shine in public spaces often have unseen support. She explained that this support helps them stay strong even during difficult times. She added that such partnerships should not be ignored when talking about success.

“Some women will glow in public because a man is working behind the scenes to keep her glowing,” she said.

Support and independence

Jeridah explained that having someone to rely on can make a big difference. She said some women can keep going because they know they have support when things do not go as planned. She added that this support gives them the strength to continue working toward their goals.

“And this woman will always show up, and she’s strong, and she’s accomplishing stuff because even when she stumbles, there is a man,” Jeridah Andayi said.

She also made it clear that not all women depend on support from men. She said some women build their success alone and still achieve great results. She explained that these women also deserve recognition for their effort and strength.

“She falls back in the arms of a man, and yet some women will flourish without a man,” she said.

Jeridah said people should stop comparing women based on how they succeed. She explained that every journey is different and each story matters. She added that what is important is the outcome and the effort behind it.
