Somebody finally said it: Willy Paul reacts after Otile Brown says he is better than Bien

Singer Willy Paul has reacted after fellow artiste Otile Brown said he is a better musician than Bien.
Otile made the remarks during an interview shared online, where he was asked whether Bien was better than Willy Paul.
The singer dismissed the comparison, insisting that Willy Paul deserved more recognition for his musical talent.
“Do you think Bien is even better than Willy Paul? Aaaah. Willy mtamnyima haki yake lakini Willy ni mdeadly,” Otile said.
Asked whether Willy Paul’s talent could be overlooked because of what he described as ethical issues surrounding the singer, Otile maintained that the discussion should focus on music.
“Haijalishi, mimi nazungumzia mziki, kuna hayo mambo mengine lakini talanta ahh Willy munamnyima haki yake,” he said.
Willy Paul, popularly known as Pozee, later shared a snippet of the interview on social media as he responded to Otile’s remarks.
“Somebody Finally said it, ethics kitu gani? Look at burna boy. Anapiga hadi watu kwa stage na bado haki yake anapata. Just because I don’t kiss A*** my efforts Zinaogelea tu kwa maji,” Willy Paul wrote.
The singer went on to say that he would continue pursuing his music career despite criticism and what he described as hatred directed at him.
“But you know what? I’m not stopping now. I’ve come this far na chuki yote, but still standing strong, nilishakubali mimi ndio mmbaya wengine ni wazuri,” he added.
Otile’s comments and Willy Paul’s response have since sparked discussion among fans, particularly over the two singers’ respective contributions to Kenya’s music industry.
The remarks also come amid longstanding debates among Kenyan music fans about which artistes deserve greater recognition for their talent, musical output and influence.
For Willy Paul, Otile’s assessment appeared to offer validation of his long-held position that his musical abilities have not always received the recognition he believes they deserve.
