American streamer IShowSpeed continued his Kenya tour with a visit to Mukuru kwa Njenga, where he met content creator Gen-Z Goliath on Sunday, January 11, 2026.

Fans gathered in large numbers to catch a glimpse of the high-energy YouTuber as he was immediately taken aback by Goliath’s massive shoes.

“He’s so tall! So big! How tall are you?” Speed joked as he admired Goliath, who revealed he stands at 8.2 feet. The streamer then tried on the shoes himself, quipping that they were bigger than a Toyota and almost the size of his head.

The humorous exchange drew laughter from fans, who cheered as Speed compared his own hands and feet to the enormous footwear.

Speed did not stop there. He joined Goliath in a basketball free-throw challenge, with the content creator sharing his secret to growing tall is eating ugali, a playful nod that left Speed amazed and entertained.

Nganya experience

Before meeting Goliath, Speed had already been immersed in Nairobi’s Nganya matatu culture, riding with Roughie and Money Fest in Mukuru.

He was astonished by the matatus’ speed, the fair-style moves, and especially the vibrant artwork, including the bold designs on the back of Money Fest, which followed him closely throughout the ride.

Fans went wild online, with Speed commenting that Kenya could take the crown if Speed hits 48 million followers, especially after surpassing 47.9 million and gaining over 150,000 subscribers in just hours.

During the tour, earlier in the day, Speed got an up-close look at some of Kenya’s iconic wildlife. He was introduced to a rhino and got the chance to feed the massive animal, reacting with excitement to the experience.

He also fed a hyena and visited the cheetah enclosure, taking in the incredible speed and agility of the big cats. The streamer’s most dramatic moment came at a lion enclosure, where one of the lions let out an ear-splitting roar to protect its territory and mate, sending Speed scrambling back in genuine fear.

“This is going to be the wildest stream in Kenya,” he said, reflecting on the intensity of the experience. His stream already hit 47.82 million subscribers in just two hours, adding over 50,000 new subscribers in that short span.
