Pritty Vishy has responded after a fan asked her to gift him her DJ deck following her decision to stop DJing.

The content creator recently announced that she was quitting the new career after facing unexpected backlash when she started DJing. When asked to give away the equipment, Pritty made it clear that she had paid for it herself.

The request came after Pritty announced that she had decided to quit DJing. The person asked her to hand over the deck instead of keeping it after ending her short-lived DJ journey. Pritty, however, said anyone interested in getting the equipment would have to buy it from her.

“Do I look like I’m doing charity work here? I bought it, Mr…so if you want it I SELL IT to you…you will ‘thank alots’ manade,” Pritty Vishy said on Saturday, August 8, 2026.

Pritty chooses peace after backlash

Pritty recently announced that she was quitting DJing, saying she had chosen peace after facing unexpected backlash over her decision to try a new career in music. The 24-year-old said she did not expect such a strong reaction after revealing that she had started working as a DJ.

Her comments came after she said she was surprised by the response from male DJs in Kenya. Pritty explained that she had only been starting when she found herself facing strong opposition from people in the DJ industry.

“Recently I came out as a DJ, and I never expected that reception. I never expected. I never expected male DJs to be on my neck,” Pritty Vishy said on Friday, August 7, 2026.

The content creator said the experience made her think about the pressure people face when trying something new. She explained that social media can create an expectation that people should already be perfect from the moment they begin a new career or activity.

Pritty said she found herself facing many DJs despite being only 24 years old and just starting. Her decision to quit came after she said the experience had made her choose peace instead of continuing with something that had brought unexpected pressure.

For now, Pritty’s DJ deck appears to be staying with her unless someone is ready to buy it.
