Nadia Mukami begins international tour with first show in Qatar

Singer Nadia Mukami has kicked off her international tour with a performance in Qatar, just days after making history by celebrating a decade in the music industry with a sold-out anniversary concert in Nairobi.
The award-winning singer announced her arrival in Doha through a TikTok post on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, urging fans living in Qatar to turn up for her highly anticipated performance.
“Just landed in Doha, Qatar for my big show @kyra.club.qa. Tell a friend to tell a friend we are in town and get your tickets,” Nadia wrote.
In the video shared online, the singer is seen arriving at the airport, where she was warmly welcomed by fans waiting to receive her.
The excited supporters presented Nadia with a bouquet of flowers moments after she landed, leaving her smiling as she graciously accepted the gesture.

The “Kai Wangu” hitmaker is then seen walking briskly through the airport terminal while flanked by bodyguards, who escorted her through the crowd as fans continued greeting her.
For the journey, Nadia opted for a relaxed travel look, wearing matching purple sweatpants paired with a purple bandana tied around her head.
The singer appeared cheerful throughout the arrival, waving and smiling at those who had turned up to welcome her before making her way out of the airport.
Anniversary concert
Her trip to Qatar comes only days after she celebrated one of the biggest milestones of her music career by marking 10 years in the entertainment industry with a lavish anniversary concert.
The concert, dubbed “10 Years of Nadia”, was held at Mass House, Ngong Racecourse, on Saturday, August 1, 2026.
The event saw the singer make history as the first Kenyan female artiste to officially sell out her own solo concert, attracting thousands of fans, fellow musicians, celebrities and political leaders.
One of the night’s most emotional moments came when Nadia invited her parents, Joseph and Mary, onto the stage, where she thanked them for believing in her dream from the very beginning.
She also pointed out the special significance of their names, noting that they share the names of the biblical parents of Jesus, a moment that drew loud applause from the audience.
The concert also marked another career milestone as Nadia performed with a live band for the first time during a full concert after spending weeks rehearsing for the special occasion.
Her partner and fellow musician Arrow Bwoy also attended the event, with Nadia later dismissing speculation that their matching yellow outfits had been planned for publicity, insisting it had happened by coincidence.
