2Mbili and Stevo Simple Boy visit Young Blood Kamotho after successful surgery

Kenyan content creators 2mbili and rapper Stevo Simple Boy have visited fellow content creator Young Blood Kamotho at his home after he was discharged from the hospital following surgery.
The two made a surprise visit on the night of Monday, September 21, 2026, with 2mbili sharing a video of the visit on his Instagram page.
Kamotho appeared happy to receive the two at his home, where his girlfriend, mother, and some of his friends were also present. The visit came shortly after he underwent an operation to remove a piece of metal that had been lodged in his arm for about three years.
Young Blood Kamotho’s surgery
Kamotho had been admitted to St Matia Mulumba Hospital in September for the procedure.
He revealed on Tuesday, September 15, that he had finally found an opportunity to have the metal removed after living with it in his arm for three years. He had previously said that he would be accompanied to the hospital by several people, including 2mbili.
“So I have finally found hope. And tomorrow I will be admitted at St Matia Mulumba Hospital for my surgery. It is to remove this metal in my hand, and I have had it in my hand for three years,” Kamotho said at the time.
The surgery was connected to an accident that Kamotho said had affected him for several years. He described the removal of the metal as an important step after spending a long period living with it in his arm.
2mbili stands by Kamotho
2mbili has been among the people supporting Kamotho through the medical journey. Before the operation, Kamotho mentioned 2mbili among the people expected to accompany him to hospital. His presence was also seen during the hospital period as Kamotho prepared for and underwent the procedure.
Following his discharge, 2mbili returned with Stevo Simple Boy for a visit at Kamotho’s home. The reunion appeared relaxed, with Kamotho spending time with the two creators alongside his girlfriend and mother.
Kamotho jokes about collaboration
During the visit, Kamotho also joked with Stevo Simple Boy about the possibility of working together on a song. The light moment came as the creators interacted at his home, with Kamotho appearing to have settled into his recovery after leaving the hospital.
The visit also highlighted the support Kamotho has received from people close to him throughout his treatment.
Before his recent surgery, Kamotho had also opened up about another difficult medical experience. In 2025, he revealed that he had undergone circumcision twice after the first procedure left him dealing with pain for several years.
He said the first procedure took place in 2015 while he was transitioning from primary school to secondary school and that he remained in pain for years before undergoing another procedure in 2018.
Kamotho’s latest surgery therefore comes after several challenging experiences with his health, with his friends and family now around him as he continues his recovery.
