Young Blood Kamotho: TikToker heads into theatre to remove metal lodged in his arm for 3 years

Kenyan TikToker Young Blood Kamotho has been wheeled into theatre for a crucial operation to remove a piece of metal that has remained lodged in his arm for the past three years.
Kamotho announced his long-awaited surgery on Tuesday night, September 15, 2026, revealing that he would be admitted to St Matia Mulumba Hospital for the procedure and inviting friends and followers who wished to accompany him to the hospital.
“So I have finally found hope. And tomorrow I will be admitted at St Matia Mulumba Hospital for my surgery. It is to remove this metal in my hand and I have had it in my hand for three years,” he said.
The TikToker said he would not be making the journey alone, revealing that several people, including Kenyan Prince and 2mbili, were expected to accompany him as he prepared to undergo the operation.
“I will be there with many people, including Kenyan Prince and 2mbili. So anyone else who will want to escort me can come,” he said.
Kamotho also used the emotional moment to thank his girlfriend, Miss Pretty, whom he credited with standing by him during a difficult period in his life.
“And I want to say that I am ready and very ready. And I also want to thank my baby for standing with me,” he said.
The TikToker revealed that his gratitude towards Miss Pretty went beyond words, saying he had decided to give her something special after completing his treatment.
He said the first thing he plans to do after leaving hospital in October will be to buy his girlfriend a gift as a token of appreciation for the love and encouragement she has shown him.
“I lost hope in life when I got this accident. My girlfriend Miss Pretty gave me a lot of hope and love like I have never had before,” he wrote on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, just hours before going into surgery.
Kamotho said the successful removal of the metal would mark an important turning point for him, particularly because he would finally no longer have to live with the object lodged in his arm.
“When I get out of hospital this October, the first thing I will do is to gift her something because now I will not be afraid of this metal lodged in my arm anymore,” he wrote.
He also teased his followers with another part of his personal story, promising to reveal how he and Miss Pretty first met once he had come through the difficult period.
“And then I will also tell you my story of how we met,” he wrote.
