Gen Z Mama Mboga celebrates after acquiring her first car

Kenyan content creator and grocery vendor Scholastica Meme, popularly known as Gen Z Mama Mboga, has celebrated a major personal milestone after revealing that she bought her first car.
Gen Z Mama Mboga shared the news on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, posting a video of herself walking towards her car while holding a bunch of flowers. She could be seen smiling as she approached her Mazda Demio, capturing a moment she described as a long-awaited blessing.
The content creator revealed that although she bought the car some time ago, she did not immediately celebrate the achievement because she was going through a difficult period mentally.
A dream she prayed for
According to Gen Z Mama Mboga, purchasing her first car was the result of a dream she had prayed for and worked for while continuing to believe that it would eventually become a reality.
“Some time back, I BOUGHT MY FIRST CAR,” she wrote, explaining that the achievement represented a dream that had finally come true.

Gen Z Mama Mboga said she was now in a better place to celebrate the milestone with her followers, despite not being able to do so when she initially acquired the vehicle.
“I didn’t get to celebrate it then because I was going through a difficult season mentally, but I’m finally in a place to celebrate this win with you,” she stated.
Her message also reflected on the personal journey behind the achievement, with Meme expressing gratitude for the strength and opportunities that helped her reach the milestone.
Car to make her hustle easier
She further acknowledged the people who have supported her journey, saying she was grateful to those who believed in her, gave her opportunities and continued engaging with her content.
She described the car as a blessing that would make her daily hustle easier as she continues balancing her work as a grocery vendor with her career as a content creator.

“This car is such a blessing. It will make the hustle easier as I continue growing as a mama mboga and as a content creator,” she said.
Gen Z Mama Mboga concluded her celebratory message with “Alhamdulillah. We made it!” as she marked the achievement with her followers.
