Nadia Mukami and Arrow Bwoy set to release new song after breakup drama

Kenyan musicians Nadia Mukami and Arrow Bwoy are set to release a new song together, months after their highly publicised breakup.
The former couple on Sunday shared the announcement on their Instagram pages, revealing that their new collaboration, “Yumba”, will be released on Friday.
“YUMBA OFFICIAL VIDEO DROPS ON FRIDAY!!! “Presave via link on Bio,” they announced on Monday, September 21,2026.
The announcement comes weeks after Nadia and Arrow Bwoy made several public appearances together following the end of their romantic relationship, sparking speculation among fans about the nature of their relationship.
Nadia, Arrow Bwoy reunite on stage
In August, the two artistes shared the stage during the grand opening of an entertainment joint, where they performed some of their popular collaborations.
Arrow Bwoy also surprised Nadia with flowers as they performed “Dai”, before the two went on to sing “Radio Love” together.
The performance came shortly after Arrow Bwoy had made a surprise appearance at Nadia’s 10 Years of Nadia Mukami concert on August 1.
He joined Nadia on stage alongside their son, Kai, and the two performed several of their songs.
The moment fuelled speculation that the former couple could be considering reconciliation. However, Nadia later clarified that Arrow Bwoy’s appearance was unexpected and should not be interpreted as an apology or indication that they had gotten back together.
She said she still respected him as the father of their children but maintained that their situation had not changed.
New music after breakup
Their latest collaboration now gives fans another opportunity to see the two artistes working together despite the end of their romantic relationship.
Nadia previously described their breakup as one of the most painful experiences of her life, saying she had invested heavily in building a family and was particularly concerned about the effect of the separation on their children.
Arrow Bwoy, meanwhile, previously said he believed there was still hope for their relationship, while emphasising the bond they share as parents.
“Mbona kukose kuwa hope? “Kama ilihappen at first mbona isihappen tena?” he said in an interview in July.
Despite the relationship drama, the two have continued to share a musical connection, having released several collaborations during their time together.
With “Yumba” now set to drop on Friday, fans will be watching to see what the former couple have prepared in their latest musical reunion.
