Singer Nadia Mukami has publicly rejected an apology from her former partner, Arrow Bwoy, after he made a surprise appearance at her 10 Years of Nadia Mukami concert on Saturday, August 1, 2026.

The emotional moment unfolded when Arrow Bwoy walked onto the stage with their son, Kai, catching both Nadia and the audience by surprise. Despite their highly publicised breakup, the two performed several of their hit songs together before addressing their relationship in front of fans.

Nadia says she did not expect Arrow Bwoy

After the performance, Nadia admitted that she had no idea Arrow Bwoy would attend the concert.

She explained that seeing him arrive with their son made it difficult for her to react negatively, but insisted that his appearance should not be mistaken for an apology.

“Let me tell you guys, I didn’t know Arrow Bwoy was going to come. And he came with our son because he knows that when he’s with our son, I can’t do anything to him or even talk badly about him,” Nadia Mukami said.

The singer then made it clear that, despite appreciating his support at the event, she did not consider his actions an apology. “But if he thinks that’s an apology, then it’s a big no. He is very, very proud, and that’s not an apology. Nothing is going to be the same. Perhaps I’ve even moved on, and then you just show up,” Nadia said.

She added that the respect she has for Arrow Bwoy comes from the fact that he is the father of their children.

“It’s because of the respect I have for my son and also for you, since you are the father of my child, and that will never change. I appreciate you for coming to my show, but that’s not an apology. Everything is still the same; the block list hasn’t changed,” Nadia added.

Arrow Bwoy promises a heartfelt apology

Arrow Bwoy responded on stage, telling fans he was not rushing the process and still intended to apologise properly.

He described Nadia as one of the most important people in his life and praised her for always treating him with respect. “We are not in a hurry. My apology is still coming, and it will come from my heart,” Arrow Bwoy said.

He continued: “What I can tell you is that you are one of the special people in my life. We have two children, and there is not a single day you have ever disrespected me. If I have wronged you unknowingly, I ask for your forgiveness.”

Emotional reunion follows breakup reflections

The emotional exchange comes just weeks after both singers opened up about the end of their relationship.

Nadia previously described the breakup as one of the most painful moments of her life, saying her greatest concern was the impact it could have on their children. She also maintained that she remains committed to peaceful co-parenting.

Arrow Bwoy, on the other hand, said he still values the bond they share as parents and believes their relationship will always remain special because of their family.

Although Nadia made it clear that his surprise appearance had not changed her feelings, the respectful conversation on stage showed that both artistes remain committed to putting their children first as they continue their co-parenting journey.
