Nadia Mukami responds after Arrow Bwoy says she was once his side chick

Singer Nadia Mukami has responded after her former partner, Arrow Bwoy, claimed she was his “side chick” when their relationship first began.

Speaking during a phone interview with Milele FM radio personality Ankali Ray on Tuesday, July 22, 2026, Nadia was asked whether she had heard Arrow Bwoy’s latest remarks.

At first, the singer said she was unaware of the comments.

“Sijaisikia, sijaona,” she replied, explaining that she had been busy and had not been following conversations on social media.

Ankali then informed her that Arrow Bwoy had claimed she was his “side chick” when they first met and asked whether there was any truth to the statement or if he had ever mentioned another woman while they were together.

Nadia declined to engage with the claims.

“Anything that is not about my show, I don’t want to speak on it,” she said.

Arrow Bwoy’s remarks

The controversy began after Arrow Bwoy appeared on a podcast and spoke about the early days of his relationship with Nadia.

According to the singer, he was already in another relationship when he met Nadia, describing her as his “side chick” at the time.

He said their relationship later evolved naturally, explaining that someone who starts as a side partner can eventually become the main partner.

Public fallout

The exchange comes just days after Nadia emotionally reflected on her breakup with Arrow Bwoy during an interview on Thursday, July 16, 2026.

Fighting back tears, she said the separation was one of the most painful experiences of her life, explaining that she had hoped to build a stable family with the singer.

Nadia also revealed that the biggest heartbreak was not the end of the relationship itself, but the impact it could have on their children, adding that she remains committed to co-parenting and creating a better future for them.

Arrow Bwoy also addressed their separation, saying he still believes there is hope and that their relationship remains special because of the family they share.
