Zuchu and Diamond’s baby named Sandrah Nasibu as family makes major revelation

The name of Tanzanian Bongo Flava stars Diamond Platnumz and Zuchu’s baby has finally been revealed, with the couple’s daughter named Sandrah Nasibu, according to her birth certificate.

Zuchu’s mother, Khadija Kopa, unveiled the document on Saturday, September 12, 2026, during the opening celebrations of her daughter’s 40-day ceremony, giving fans the first glimpse of the name officially recorded for the newborn.

Khadija revealed that she had received an envelope containing the child’s birth certificate before proceeding to disclose the name written on the document.

“Na nimepata hii bahasha na ina cheti ndani na jina la mtoto lipo hapo. Haya jamani jina la mtoto wetu ni Sandrah Nasibu,” Khadija said.

She went on to reveal that the baby also has another name, Sanura, explaining that it was chosen in honour of her paternal grandmother.

“Kwa jina jingine Sanura. Hili jina ni la bibi yake baba,” she added.

Khadija then showed off the birth certificate, allowing the details contained in the document to be seen during the 40-day celebration.

According to the certificate, the child’s name is listed as Sandrah Nasibu Issac, while her place of birth is recorded as Saifee Hospital, Kinondoni, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.

The document lists the mother as Zuhura Othman Soud and the father as Nasibu Abdul Issac, the names appearing on the certificate for Zuchu and Diamond Platnumz respectively.

The revelation therefore offers a glimpse into the official names used on the newborn’s birth documentation, even as the couple are popularly known by their stage names, Zuchu and Diamond Platnumz.

Khadija’s disclosure came as the family gathered to mark the baby’s 40th day, a milestone celebrated with a lavish event attended by relatives, friends and members of the Tanzanian entertainment industry.

The ceremony marked another major moment in the life of the baby girl, whose arrival has attracted considerable attention since Diamond and Zuchu welcomed her in early August.

Diamond and Zuchu welcomed their first child together on Sunday, August 2, 2026, with the arrival of their daughter coming after a turbulent period in their relationship that had seen the couple publicly announce their separation and refer to divorce proceedings.

The pair, however, reconciled before the birth, with their reunion becoming evident during a lavish baby shower held shortly before Zuchu delivered their daughter.

Following the baby’s arrival, Diamond and Zuchu kept much of the newborn’s personal information away from the public eye, heightening curiosity around the child’s name.

The couple’s decision to keep the name private made Saturday’s revelation by Khadija particularly significant, with the baby’s birth certificate providing the clearest details yet about the newborn.

The family had already given the public a glimpse into the celebrations surrounding the child shortly after her birth, with Diamond arranging an extravagant hospital departure when Zuchu and the newborn were discharged on August 4.

The mother and baby left the hospital in a convoy of more than 50 luxury vehicles, including a Rolls-Royce, in a grand display that reflected the enormous public interest surrounding the arrival of Diamond’s daughter.

The convoy later headed to the home of Diamond’s mother, Mama Dangote, where the newborn was formally introduced to her grandmother and the extended family celebrated her arrival.
