This announcement comes a few days after she confirmed that she will be headlining the entertainment lineup during the final match of the tournament, set for August 30 at the Moi International Sports Centre, Kasarani.

“I’m so thrilled to announce that I will be headlining the African Champions League final this year. #CHAN2025 happening in Nairobi at Kasarani Stadium on August 30, 2025,” Zuchu wrote in her announcement.

She will be joined by Uganda’s celebrated artiste Eddy Kenzo and Kenya’s very own Savara of Sauti Sol, who are also set to perform at the grand football showdown.

Final showdown

On the pitch, Morocco will be chasing a record-extending third CHAN title as they face off against tournament underdogs Madagascar, who are seeking their first-ever championship in what has been a fairytale campaign.

Morocco secured their spot in the final after edging out Senegal 5-3 in a post-match penalty shootout in the semifinals, having previously eliminated Tanzania with a 1-0 win in the quarterfinals. The Atlas Lions had earlier finished second to co-hosts Kenya in Group A to qualify for the knockouts.

Madagascar, on the other hand, shocked the football world with a spirited run, finishing second to Tanzania in Group B before knocking out co-hosts Kenya 4-3 in a tense penalty shootout in the quarter-finals. They went on to stun Sudan with a dramatic extra-time winner in the semi-finals at the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium in Dar es Salaam to book their historic final slot
