Diamond, Zuchu make lavish hospital exit under tight luxury convoy led by Rolls-Royce

Tanzanian Bongo Flava icon Diamond Platnumz, on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, organised a huge convoy of luxury vehicles, including a Rolls-Royce Cullinan, as he and singer Zuchu left the hospital following the birth of their baby girl.
In a video shared on Instagram, the couple is seen walking out of the hospital ward moments after Zuchu was discharged following the successful delivery.
Diamond carried their newborn daughter in a black baby carrier with one hand while walking alongside Zuchu, who appeared cheerful as they made their way towards the hospital exit.
The Sukari hitmaker stepped out wearing a flowing white dress, while Diamond was dressed in a black shirt, matching trousers and a black hat.
As they exited the hospital, a convoy of luxury vehicles was already lined up outside waiting to receive the couple and their newborn.
The fleet consisted of several high-end black vehicles, including Cadillac SUVs, Range Rover V8s and a luxurious Rolls-Royce Cullinan, which stood out at the centre of the convoy.
Diamond then walked Zuchu to one of the waiting vehicles before opening the passenger door for her in a gentlemanly gesture.

Zuchu got into the luxury vehicle first before Diamond carefully entered while still carrying their newborn daughter.
The convoy then pulled away from the hospital under tight security, with a lead vehicle fitted with flashing sirens clearing traffic as the fleet made its way through the streets.
The impressive procession wound its way across different parts of Tanzania before eventually arriving at Diamond’s family home.
Upon arriving, the couple took their newborn daughter inside, where Diamond’s mother was waiting to receive and bless the baby for the first time.
Wholesome moment
Diamond and Zuchu welcomed their baby girl on Sunday, August 2, 2026, marking one of the biggest celebrity moments in East Africa this year.
The announcement was first made by Diamond, who shared the joyous news with fans before later confirming that both mother and baby were in good health.
The singer subsequently revealed that he had named the newborn after his late grandmother, a gesture he said was meant to honour the woman who played a significant role in his upbringing.
Following the birth, relatives, friends and fellow celebrities streamed to the hospital to congratulate the couple.
Among the first visitors was singer Ommy Dimpoz, who arrived carrying eight large flower bouquets and several gifts.
Dimpoz explained that he had chosen eight bouquets because the baby was born in the eighth month of the year, adding that he also shares the same birth month as the newborn.

The celebrations continued when Diamond’s mother publicly welcomed the newborn into the family, describing the baby as a blessing and expressing gratitude for the newest member of what she fondly referred to as the “Dangote family.”
Before leaving the hospital, Diamond also drew attention online after jokingly asking relatives visiting the newborn to prioritise bringing money instead of flowers.
“Wajomba na ma Aunty mnaokuja hospitali, jamani hatujazaa nyuki, haya maua yanatosha, hebu njoeni na hela bana,” he wrote, joking that they had received enough flowers already.
