Zuchu rubbishes claims of conflict with Mama Dangote

Tanzanian singer Zuchu has set the record straight on swirling rumours suggesting that her relationship with Diamond Platnumz’s mother, Mama Dangote, has taken a hit.

Speaking during a recent interview, the songstress maintained that she continues to share a warm and harmonious bond with her lover’s mother, and there has been no change in their relationship.

“Tuko vizuri. Nilizungumza naye kuhusu mipango ya kusherehekea siku ya kuzaliwa ya Simba. Kama familia, lazima umshirikishe mama. Tulijadili nini, yaani, tuko vizuri. Mambo hayo ni tu kwenye mtandao, lakini tuko vizuri. Hakuna tatizo lolote nililolifahamu,” Zuchu affirmed.

Zuchu went further to dispel any notion that the generous gifts from Diamond’s baby mama Tanasha, to Mama Dangote, had caused any discord.

“All of us as Wasafis are family. That is our mother, and there is nothing wrong. Only networks like things but we are talking. We are good,” she stated.

Speculations surrounding a potential disagreement arose when Mama Dangote allegedly unfollowed Zuchu and seemed to agree with a fan who had suggested that Diamond should reconcile with Tanasha.

This transpired after Tanasha celebrated Mama Dangote’s birthday with an array of thoughtful gifts.

These events gave rise to speculations that Mama Dangote might have a preference for Tanasha over Zuchu.

However, Zuchu, in response to a fan’s comment, clarified her relationship with Diamond denying any involvement with Diamond.

“Sio bwana yangu mpenzi,” she retorted.

She underscored that Diamond is free to make his own choices.

A few days ago, Zuchu and Diamond put to rest any doubts about the state of their relationship when they appeared together on stage and even shared a kiss.
