Fast-rising musician Tanasha Donna Oketch has disclosed that her mother, Diana Oketch, is yet to meet her son, Naseeb Junior.
The radio presenter turned musician made the revelation during an engagement with her fans in a live Instagram session.
However, Tanasha who has been vacationing in Dubai to celebrate her birthday says plans are underway for her mother to finally meet her grandson.
“Can you imagine, my mother has never met my son? I don’t want to start tearing up on this live right now. But my mother has never met my son
“She is going to meet him for the first time in three weeks and I’m so excited, it is going to be such an emotional moment for me and I cannot wait,” she said.
Tanasha’s mother works and resides in Belgium.
Tanasha Donna and Diamond Platnumz
The former NRG radio presenter was dating Bongo star Diamond Platnumz but they broke months after Tanasha gave birth to their son.
In an exclusive interview with a local publication, Tanasha recalled the last moments with the Tanzanian superstar further linking infidelity to their split.
“If it is too many back and forths. When you reach a dead-end that is when you bounce. I fought it all. But when it came to infidelity, I realised I was fighting a war on my own,” she said.
Tanasha noted that she confronted her baby daddy over the infidelity claims before blocking him and called it quits.
“It was the limit for me especially since I was loyal like crazy to him. It had been ride or die for me. I had to leave for the sake of my son and my own mental health,” she added.
Expectations
The mother of one noted that Diamond had certain expectations and when she did not meet his expectations, it made it difficult for him to hang on.
Tanasha noted that this hugely contributed to their split since she wanted to be her own self and keep up with the relationship at the same time.
“And it’s not because of anything emotional but its because of not leaving up to certain expectations he had, but it’s not his fault because everybody is wired the way they are and when you don’t live up to this person’s expectation, for some people it’s not easy to hang on,” she stated.
Diamond Platnumz says Tanasha Donna has all the qualities
In an interview where he discussed his relationship with Tanasha, Diamond heaped praises on his baby mama describing her as his ideal woman.
The singer announced plans to marry Tanasha due to her seriousness and commitment towards their relationship.
Diamond said her manners are among a host of other things that gave him the idea of settling down with her.
“Tanasha is the only lady who showed me some seriousness on the marriage idea and I now officially announce that I am marrying her. She got all the qualities of a woman any man would wish to marry
“Many of us men only focus on the physical attractiveness of a woman, body shape among other things, which she got as well, but what convinced me more and attracted me is her good manners,” he said.
