Mumias East Member of Parliament Peter Salasya has encouraged Kenyan men to marry more wives days after giving up hitting on his fervent crush Huddah Monroe.
Salasya, has resorted to other means of finding his dream matrimonial partners and is now featured on season two of Obinna’s reality TV show dubbed ‘My Woman‘, said that successful men have married more wives.
Additionally, the youthful lawmaker said that if Kenyan men and women agree to practise polygamy, it will help curb the rising trends of single ladies in the country.
“Successful people married more wives and we must also go back to the ancient days whereby men should try and marry more than two or three wives so that we avoid this issue of single ladies. I must start as an example,” Salasya said.
“The vision 2040 is that we should not have any single woman outside there so wanamume mwenye mko huko nje na wanadada mkubali.”
Qualities of future wife
While outlining the qualities of his future wife, Salasya disclosed that he would be practising polygamy when he settled down.
The comic senior bachelor further attributed his quest for practising polygamy to a beautiful marital life adding that marrying many wives would prevent him from receiving maltreatment in marriage.
He went on to say that his future wife must be open to polygamy.
“The kind of a woman that I would be marrying should be coming with the mind that she will be with others na tulikuwa tumesema mimi Peter Salasya nitaoa bibi watatu. Sasa kama hauko kwa hao watatu na unataka kuwa peke yako ndio unitese mimi sitakubali,”he disclosed.
“Number one qualification is that you must have a welcoming heart mpendane na mwenzako kwa sababu hawa wengine nitawapeleka wapi.”
The second quality, Salasya said is looking for a respectful woman who will not medle in his private business such as going through his mobile phone.
“Bibi ambaye hata aangalie kwa simu yangu, aniache tu. Akitaka kuwa peaceful, ni post tu vitu zangu asione vitu. Asikuje kwa DM yangu aangalie oh, because me I know myself. I know how to control myself. Aachane tu na mambo yangu asinichunge,” he disclosed.
Apart from being open-minded and respectful, Salasya said he is not into violent women since he can’t raise his voice or hand on a woman.
“I want someone who is not violent, nikiwa nimemkosea afadhali aninyamzie. Asiweke, asianze hiyo, unaelewa? Asikuwe mtu vioelnt. Kama nimekosa somebody anaweza nikalisha asinipigie kelele, coz niko na pressures mingi huko inje,” he outlined.
“Sasa kwa hao watatu mwenye atakuwa ananipea the coolest environment nitakuwa naenda huko.“
If you are dreaming of being Mumias East’s first lady you must not be a controlling freak since it is a turn-off for the comic lawmaker and also be wiling to visit his ancestral home more frequently.
“Kuna wanawake wengine kazi yao ni kuangalia time wanataka saa mbili kamili nikue kwa nyumba. Sasa kama wewe utanikazia time achana na hiyo maneno,” he disclosed.
“Alafu akuwe anaweza penda kuingia kwa village at any given time. Kuna wasichana wanapenda Nairobi kuliko ushago. Mimi nataka yule at least ata akiwa Nairobi anafika nyumbani.”
