Jamaican reggae sensation Etana has expressed her desire to collaborate with a Kenyan female artiste.
Etana is in Kenya for her much-anticipated Good Vibes Festival, set to take place on Saturday, December 7, 2024, at the A.S.K Dome, Jamhuri Park Showground, Nairobi.

Speaking at a press conference held on Thursday, December 5, 2024, in Westlands, Nairobi, Etana noted that she had already worked with male musicians and shared her aspirations to collaborate with a female artiste this time around.
She noted that while she had explored options, she wanted to be certain before making an official announcement.
“I’ve done projects with male artistes. This time, I wish to collaborate with a female artiste. I need to communicate with them first before I let them know who it will be,” she added.

The reggae icon has previously worked with notable Kenyan musicians, including legendary artist Wyre the Love Child, Naiboi, and upcoming reggae singer Michael Bundi.
The Good Vibes Festival promises an unforgettable experience as fans prepare to celebrate to vibe with the star till dawn.
Etana’s Kenyan fanbase
In an interview with K24 TV‘s Sarah Ibrahim on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, Etana revealed that her Kenyan audience has her whole heart.
The singer expressed her gratitude to her fans who she says she loves how they actively participate when she is performing by singing along to her songs.
“I always look forward to meeting the people, going to the hotel where they make the tea with the little heart, and being on the stage singing with the people,” she revealed.
“The vibe and the love for reggae music… The way they sing to me! And let me tell you, no matter where I go in the world, there is always a Kenyan or a Kenyan group of people in my audience.”
She recently went viral while performing in the Netherlands where proudly waved a Kenyan flag as she sang her much-loved track Weakness in Me.
