K24 Sports, a segment of this website, is launching a new digital feature, K24 Live Stats, aimed at enhancing its coverage of the 2026 FIFA World Cup with real-time match data, analytics and fan engagement tools.

K24 Live Stats will provide live statistics during matches, alongside pre-match and post-match insights, including team standings, player performance data, top scorers and predictive analysis.

The platform said the feature is designed to give viewers a more detailed understanding of matches as they unfold.

“As we prepare for the biggest World Cup ever, featuring 104 matches from June 11th to July 19th, 2026, K24 Sports will be launching a first-of-its-kind football companion experience in Kenya, K24 LIVE STATS,” the platform announced.

The initiative comes as broadcasters and media companies seek to deepen audience engagement through second-screen experiences and data-driven storytelling, particularly during major global sporting events.

K24 Live Stats will be integrated across its television broadcast, digital platforms and streaming services, allowing audiences to follow matches on K24 TV, K24 Plus and K24 Digital.

“K24 LIVE STATS brings fans closer to the game with live match statistics, standings, player performance data, top scorers, predictions, match insights, and more, available before, during, and after every game,” Mediamax CEO Kenneth Ngaruiya said.

The 2026 World Cup, which will feature an expanded format with 104 matches, is scheduled to run from June 11 to July 19, 2026.

K24 Sports will also highlight the participation of 10 African nations competing in the tournament.

The platform described the launch of K24 Live Stats as part of its broader effort to modernise sports coverage and offer viewers a more immersive way to follow football’s biggest event.
