Radio presenter and TikTok star Azziad Nasenya has spoken on her allegedly beef with viral dancer David Moya.
For the longest time, Azziad was the most-followed TikToker in Kenya until Moya emerged and took the first position.
By the time of publishing, Moya was on top with 3.3 million followers while Azziad came second with 2 million followers.
There is no competition
In an interview with Presenter Ali, Azziad said she is not bothered with Moya’s popularity since she does not view it as a competition.
“It’s never about competition, that’s where people go wrong and I’m sure if you ask Moya, he is not going to look at it at a competition angle… We are different, we have different audiences, he does different things, our contents are different,” the content creator said.
Azziad said a section of their audiences are the ones that spark a competition mentality between the dancer and herself.
“You’ll always find that it’s some of the audiences that want to spike the competition between certain creators. Personally, I never compare myself with anyone, my competition is to be better than yesterday,” she said.
Azziad Nasenya on beefing with David Moya
Azziad also denied an existing beef between herself and Moya, stating that she is never keen on such claims.
The TikToker stated that she is happy for Moya and wished him well in his content creation journey:
“I have never heard of a beef between me and Moya because I’m always on social media to do my stuff. I don’t own TikTok, let him keep going, infact, I’m happy for him. Again, as I said, it’s never about competition,” Azziad added.
Azziad Nasenya plastic surgery
In April, Azziad was put on the spot over her trip to Turkey after a section of her followers believed that she had traveled to get a plastic surgery.
Reacting to the claims, the radio presenter hit out at her critics noting that she was contented with her physical appearance.
She urged netizens to change their perception of the country, adding that she was in Turkey to experience the world.
“Who said visiting Turkey has to be about making our bodies and surgeries. Some of us love our bodies and appreciate them and would never change a thing. It’s 2022, wake up. People are travelling the world it is a tourist country,” Azziad wrote.
