Comedian Eric Omondi has embarked on a five-day charity walk that will see him cover 366 kilometres, moving from Nairobi to Busia.
Omondi defied the chilly weather and hit the road on the morning of Monday, March 2, 2026, with a sizeable crowd joining the philanthropist on the streets.
His entourage snaked its way through the city, joining Waiyaki Way and making its way past Westlands on the first day of the event.
A host of celebrities joined the comedian on the road at various points of the walk as a show of solidarity and to express their support for the noble cause.
Celebrities join Omondi
Kenyan sprint sensation Ferdinand Omanyala joined the comedian as he embarked on the daring journey.
Mugithi singer Samuel Muchoki, popularly known as Samidoh, also showed up on the road, walking several metres in the company of the stand-up comedian.
Social media sensation Azziad Nasenya also stepped out for the walk and joined the comedian.

The star-studded lineup also had Commentator 254, who streamed the event as he walked shoulder-to-shoulder with Omondi.
Their presence on the road was not only a mark of support but also elevated the profile of the walk that seeks to raise funds for the construction of a help and rescue centre.
Omondi’s journey of love
Omndi first embarked on what he christened as walk of love on February 11, 2026, walking from Nairobi to Mombasa over a period of four days.
The climax of the walk, which coincided wth Valentines Day, was on February 14, 2026, with the comedian covering a distance of 486 kilometres.
The proceeds of the walk, as well as contributions from well-wishers, have seen the construction of the facility commence.
However, a second walk was necessary to raise more funds to bring the bold project to life.
“Hey guys, I will be walking to the Busia border from Nairobi for 5 days from next week, Monday the 2nd to Friday. Sisi Kwa Sisi Help and Rescue Centre will provide free health care and education to Kenyans,” Omondi announced.

“I walked to Mombasa and raised funds to begin this project. I will keep walking until the SISI KWA SISI help and rescue centre is complete,” he stated.
Upon completion, the facility will have a warehouse, two ambulances, a school, and a hospital to care for some of the most vulnerable members of society.
