A driver attached to Supreme Court Judge Njoki Ndung’u was on Friday night attacked and robbed of a car assigned to her.

The incident occurred in Mwihoko, Githurai but the judge was not in the vehicle when the robbers carjacked the driver identified as Stephen Thuku

The car’s registration number is KCN 117M.

Thuku told police that he was driving the vehicle, a Toyota LandCruiser Prado, at about 7:30 pm when he was blocked by another car on the road.

“It is then that three armed men got into the car and threw the officer in the rear seat where he was placed between two of them,” he said.

The trio drove with him around the city and later abandoned him near Ngong.

The case is being followed up by officers from Ngong and Githurai Kimbo police stations.
