Lillian Nganga: I have never been heartbroken
Author and social media personality Lillian Nganga has revealed that despite her past relationships, she has never experienced heartbreak.
Speaking during a candid interview with media personality Alex Mwakideu on Saturday, June 6, 2026, about her love life, Lillian said she has faced disappointment in relationships but has never reached a point where she would describe herself as heartbroken.

“I have not been heartbroken before. I haven’t been heartbroken, just probably disappointed,” Lillian disclosed.
The mother of one explained that while there have been moments when she wished certain situations had turned out differently, she has never experienced the emotional pain commonly associated with heartbreak.
“I have been disappointed and wished for things to be different, but heartbreak? No,” she added.
Lillian attributed her outlook to maturity, noting that she is at a stage in life where she does not have the time or energy to dwell on heartbreak.
“Now I am grown; I am past that age of heartbreak. I am too busy to be heartbroken,” Lillian stated.
Deal-breaker in relationships
The podcaster also opened up about what she considers a deal breaker in a relationship, saying dishonesty is something she cannot tolerate.
“I hate lying. I get so angry when somebody lies. I really hate being lied to. [Don’t lie;] just speak the truth,” she said.
According to Lillian, honesty is important even when the truth may be painful.
“I find lying very childish; just say the truth even if is going to hurt me. I will heal, but lying I find very immature,” she pointed out.
She further revealed that she strives to live truthfully and avoids lying in her own life.
“I do not lie because I hate lying, and I try my best. I do not lie as much; I actually do not lie because I live a very simple, straight life, so there is nothing to lie about,” Lillian disclosed.
Lillian added that her straightforward lifestyle has made honesty come naturally to her.
“I live my life straight, and there is nothing that has made me want to lie,” she explained.
According to her, trust and honesty are essential in any relationship, and being lied to is one thing that could make her walk away from a partner.
