One rescued, 2 missing after building caves in in South B
A building undergoing demolition in the Fuata Nyayo area of South B has collapsed leaving two trapped in the rubble. A third person has been rescued.
Confirming the incident, the Kenya Red Cross said on Monday, May 20, 2024, that efforts to locate the two are ongoing.
“One person has been rescued, while two others are suspected to be trapped after a building being demolished collapsed in Fuata Nyayo, South B, Nairobi. Rescue efforts are ongoing,” Kenya Red Cross said.
