Ciara announces she is pregnant with 5th child, her fourth with husband Russell Wilson

American singer Ciara has announced that she is expecting her fifth child, her fourth with husband and former NFL star Russell Wilson. The singer shared the news on Instagram on September 6, where she revealed her growing baby bump while celebrating the latest addition to their family.
“One more person to Love,” Ciara wrote alongside the announcement.
Ciara reveals growing baby bump
Ciara, who is 40 years old, and Wilson, who’s 37 years old, already have three children together: Sienna Princess, 9, Win Harrison, 6, and Amora Princess, 2. Ciara also has a 12-year-old son, Future Zahir, from her previous relationship with rapper Future.
The pregnancy announcement was shared through a multi-slide post featuring photos and videos of the couple posing outdoors. In one of the pictures, four shirts bearing the names Future, Sienna, Win and Amora were seen hanging on a clothesline.
A fifth item, a baby onesie, was left without a name, as the family has yet to decide what to call their new arrival. The announcement comes less than two months after Wilson spoke about the possibility of having another child during an interview in July.
Russell Wilson had hinted at another baby
Wilson had previously shared that he wanted to expand their family and revealed that he was trying to convince Ciara to have a fifth child. “We have four amazing kids, and I’m trying to convince Ciara to have a fifth,” Wilson said during the interview at Fanatics Fest in July.
He added that he hoped the couple would soon welcome another child. “I want to have five; Ciara does too. We’ll see. Hopefully, I can convince her,” he said.
The couple has now confirmed that they are expecting their fifth child together, putting an end to the speculation about whether they would expand their family.
Fans celebrate pregnancy announcement
Following the announcement, Ciara and Wilson received messages of congratulations from fans and friends on social media. Among those celebrating was La La Anthony, who described the pregnancy as another blessing for the family.
“Another beautiful blessing! More to love!” La La wrote.
She also joked about preparing for the new arrival and shared her excitement over the growing family. “Making space over at Auntie La’s house. Love my family. I’m just over here cheesing so hard,” she added.
10 years of marriage
The pregnancy announcement comes during a special year for Ciara and Wilson, who celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary in July. The couple has often spoken about their family life and the role they play in raising their children.
A month before their anniversary, Ciara also opened up about her relationship with Wilson during an interview.
She said one of the things she admired most about her husband was the way he cared for their children. “I always tell him the sexiest thing about him is watching him be a father to our babies. He’s like Superman to us in the house, and we all want a piece of Dad,” Ciara said.
She also praised Wilson for the support and care he gives their family, saying his nature has helped create a sense of security at home. “He has the biggest heart. We don’t have to worry about anything, which is a blessing,” she added.
