King Kalala announces pregnancy, with all-grown baby bump

Digital content creator Prudence Chepkirui Tonui, widely known as King Kalala, has announced that she is expecting her first child in an Instagram post on Tuesday, July 21, 2026.
She shared the news with the message, “LONG LIVE THE KLAN! +1!” The announcement has surprised many people, as she is widely known for her unfiltered opinions, bold personality and signature husky voice.
“Hata simba hupatikana,” Kalala added.
The pregnancy announcement comes months after Kalala spoke about dating and urged women to stop calling men misogynists when they express their personal preferences. She shared the message in an Instagram video on Thursday, February 26, 2026.
“If a man says he wants a partner who complements him differently, you don’t start calling him a misogynist. Go look for someone who actually matches your energy and expectations,” Kalala said.
Kalala explained that people should not take dating preferences as personal attacks. She said relationships work better when people choose partners who are a good match instead of trying to force things that are not working.
