Media personality and entrepreneur Mercy Kyallo has opened up about the difficult experience she went through during the early stages of her pregnancy, celebrating after finally regaining her strength.
Mercy shared the update on Monday, August 31, 2026, through a video posted on her social media pages. In the video, the expectant mother is seen dancing and smiling as she celebrates feeling energetic again after what she described as a tough first trimester.
Her partner, Marvin Gichuru, is also seen in the video dancing behind her and supporting her as they enjoy the light-hearted moment together.

Mercy reveals difficult first trimester
In the message accompanying the video, Mercy cautioned her followers against assuming that the energy she displayed had been her normal state throughout the pregnancy.
“Don’t be fooled by this energy, I just got it back after a tough & horrible first trimester where I couldn’t leave the bed or home for 3 months!” she stated.
Mercy explained that the first trimester had left her largely confined to her bed and home, making it difficult for her to carry out her normal activities.
Her revelation gave her followers a glimpse into the less glamorous side of pregnancy, particularly the physical challenges that can accompany the early stages.
Despite the difficult period, Mercy expressed happiness at having her strength back and used the opportunity to celebrate other mothers.
“So glad to have my strength back! Mothers, I salute you; you are all superheroes!!” she added.
