Everton vs Man Utd: No Baleba yet as Carrick names Red Devils’ starting XI

Manchester United midfielder Carlos Baleba will have to wait a little longer for his debut, as Michael Carrick has maintained the squad that did duty against Ipswich for their Matchday 3 trip to Merseyside to face Everton.
The Cameroonian signing, who has been the subject of praise from Carrick, has not fully recovered from an ankle injury, delaying his debut.
The Red Devils approach the 4:00 pm kickoff at Hill Dickinson Stadium with an unchanged lineup.
Kobbie Mainoo, who boasts a long-standing unbeaten run in every match he has started for the club, will pull the strings from midfield alongside summer arrival Youri Tielemans.

Bruno Fernandes, the hat-trick hero in the 5-2 victory in United’s first home game at Old Trafford, retains the armband as the team remains unchanged. Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo also retain their respective positions in the attack.
Whereas Slovenia international Benjamin Šeško makes a substitute appearance after missing all six of United’s pre-season fixtures, there is no place for Amad Diallo and Mason Mount, who all miss out through injuries. Carrick, in his pre-match presser, stated that there was encouragement surrounding Mount’s condition after he took part in training at Carrington during the week.
