ODPP announces 186 job vacancies

The Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP) has opened up 186 job vacancies for citizens.

In a statement on Tuesday, December 5, 2023, ODPP invited Kenyans to apply for vacancies spanning various positions.

The vacant positions include:-

  1. Senior Assistant Director, Human Resource Management (1 position)
  2. Assistant Director, Information Communication Technology (1 position)
  3. Assistant Director, Human Resource Management (1 position)
  4. Senior Principal Prosecution Counsel (5 positions)
  5. Principal Prosecution Counsel (5 positions)
  6. Principal Supply Chain Management Officer (1 position)
  7. Principal Office Administrator (2 positions)
  8. Principal Public Communication Officer (1 position)
  9. Senior Human Resource Management Officer I (1 position)
  10. Senior Human Resource Development Officer I (1 position)
  11. Executive Secretary (7 positions)
  12. Administration Officer I (2 positions)
  13. Prosecution Counsel II (86 positions)
  14. Personal Secretary II (20 positions)
  15. Supply Chain Management Officer II (2 positions)
  16. Cabal Officer II (30 positions)
  17. Office Assistant III (20 positions)

Applicants are required to submit their applications online, as the ODPP will not accept hard-copy applications.

The deadline for submissions is set for December 19, 2023, with a cutoff time of 5:00 pm.

“The ODPP emphasizes its commitment to upholding the principles outlined in Article 232 of the Constitution, encouraging persons with disabilities and those from marginalized and minority communities to apply,” the ODPP stated.

“The ODPP underscores its dedication to equal opportunities, reinforcing that it is an equal opportunity employer.”

Shortlisted candidates will undergo interviews where they must present original copies of their national identification card, academic certificates, and transcripts.
