Content creator and family influencer Nurse Judy has opened up about one of the dreams she still hopes to fulfil, revealing that she would still love to have a white wedding despite being married for almost 15 years.

In a post shared on her Instagram page on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, Nurse Judy reflected on her marriage journey, explaining that although she and her husband completed all the important traditional and legal marriage processes, they never had the white wedding she had always imagined.

She admitted that while life priorities have changed over the years, the dream has never completely faded.

Why they never had a white wedding

Explaining how their marriage began, Nurse Judy said they first got married traditionally before later completing their introduction ceremony, ruracio, and a civil marriage at the Attorney General’s office.

She noted that the civil marriage was necessary because they needed an official marriage certificate. “I never had a white wedding. We first got married traditionally, then we had our introduction ceremony, followed by ruracio, and later got married at the Attorney General’s office because we needed the marriage certificate,” she shared.

The influencer added that a white wedding had always been part of her plans, but she and her husband chose not to organise one through fundraising.

‘I wanted it to be luxurious’

Nurse Judy admitted that if she ever holds a white wedding, she wants it to be exactly the way she has always pictured it.

She explained that back in 2021, financial limitations made it difficult to organise the kind of ceremony she wanted. “I always wanted a white wedding, but we didn’t want to ask people to contribute towards it, and I wanted it to be as luxurious as possible,” she wrote.

She added that their financial situation has improved over the years, but their priorities have also changed.

Family comes first

According to Nurse Judy, she now finds herself choosing family experiences and investments over spending money on a wedding ceremony.

Even so, she admitted that the thought of walking down the aisle in a white gown still crosses her mind from time to time. “In 2021, we didn’t have the money we have now. Today we are in a better place financially, but I keep telling him we would rather spend our money on family trips, investments, and other important things. Even so, I still feel that I want a white wedding. We’ll see,” she said.

The content creator concluded her post by celebrating the journey she has shared with her husband, saying they are approaching 15 years of marriage and still looking forward to many more together.
