Nurse Judy admits having a baby at 19 was the best decision she ever made

Nurse Judy has said she has no regrets about becoming a mother at the age of 19.

She explained that she would not change anything about having her child at a young age because it turned out to be one of the best decisions she has ever made.

“I wouldn’t change a thing about having my kid at 19 and in my early 20s; best thing ever, and not gonna lie, I never felt like I struggled with motherhood at all,” Nurse Judy said on Tuesday, June 30, 2026.

She explained that, in her view, age is not the most important factor when it comes to raising children. Nurse Judy said choosing the right partner matters more than waiting until someone feels older or more mature.

“The key is in choosing a great father for your kids, and age will never matter!!!” she said.

According to Nurse Judy, a supportive partner can make the experience of motherhood easier. She believes that the quality of the relationship has a greater impact than the age at which a woman becomes a mother.

Choosing the right partner

Nurse Judy went on to compare becoming a parent at a younger age with having a child later in life. She explained that being older does not always guarantee a better parenting experience if the relationship is unhealthy.

“Try getting a kid at hiyo 30 unadhani ni mature enough,” Nurse Judy said.

She argued that choosing the wrong partner can make motherhood difficult regardless of age. According to her, problems in the relationship can affect how someone experiences parenting.

“But with a wrong man bado dust itakua PROMAX you will hate motherhood and resent like hell,” she said.

Nurse Judy’s remarks focused on her personal experience of motherhood and the lessons she believes others can learn from it. She maintained that she never struggled with raising her child and credited that to having the right father for her child rather than the age at which she became a mother.

She remains confident in her decision to become a mother at 19 and would not change that chapter of her life.
