I have no desire to be private: Nurse Judy responds to criticism about sharing her personal life

Nurse Judy has responded to critics questioning why she openly shares details of her personal life online, maintaining that she has every right to tell her story in a way that feels comfortable to her.
In a social media post, she posted on Monday, June 22, 2026, the content creator addressed comments from followers who advised her to keep her private life away from public platforms. According to her, people have different personalities and boundaries, and no one should be forced to live according to another person’s expectations.
Choosing to share her journey
Nurse Judy explained that while some people prefer to keep their lives private, she has chosen a different path and is comfortable sharing parts of her personal experiences with her audience. She noted that although she posts a lot online, there are still aspects of her life that remain private.
“She asked me to be private. I told her I have no desire to be private because I have a reason why I share my personal life and my personal journey. We cannot all be the same,” she wrote.
The influencer added that she only shares what she feels comfortable making public and does not allow criticism to influence her decisions. “I show what I am comfortable showing. Some things would have remained private, but once they become public, I embrace my mistakes, own them and move on,” she wrote.
Responding to criticism from women
As she continued her remarks, Nurse Judy claimed that disagreements often arise when people fail to accept different opinions and lifestyles. According to her, many online discussions become confrontational simply because individuals have different views on how life should be lived.
“The moment you do not agree with some women’s advice or opinions, it suddenly becomes a war. Just because you would do things differently does not mean everyone else must do the same,” she wrote.
She emphasised that people have different personalities, boundaries, and life experiences, adding that there is no single formula for how one should conduct their personal life.
Speaks on marriage and public opinion
Nurse Judy also addressed recurring discussions surrounding her marriage, claiming that some social media users have spent years expecting her relationship to fail. She suggested that some critics project their own struggles onto others and become frustrated when people choose different paths.
“Many of them are projecting their own issues and struggles onto me. They have waited and wanted me to leave my husband for so long that you wonder how that would add value to their lives,” she wrote.
The content creator further explained that she understands her personal limits and has always made independent decisions regarding her relationships. “The years between 2021 and 2024 proved exactly that. Both times, no one told me to leave. I made that personal decision myself. I know my limits, and I know when I am happy and when I am not,” she wrote.
I owe nobody an explanation
Concluding her statement, Nurse Judy maintained that she is currently in a good place in her life and remains confident in the choices she has made. “When I needed to leave, I left. When I decided to make things work, I had my reasons, and I owe nobody an explanation for those reasons,” she wrote.
She added that her happiness and the strength of her relationship are matters she does not feel obligated to justify to the public, insisting that not every aspect of her life has to make sense to everyone else.
