Nurse Judy urges women to build their own wealth

Nurse Judy has encouraged women to work towards financial independence, urging them to create their own wealth and security regardless of their partner’s financial status.
She shared the message on Monday, June 8, 2026, while reflecting on a difficult period in her life when she left everything familiar behind and moved to a different country to start over. According to her, the experience taught her the importance of having personal stability and financial freedom.
“And ladies, usitegemee mwanaume, hata kama ako na pesa kiasi gani. Build your own too. Have your own investments. Have your own assets. Have your own security,” Nurse Judy said.

She explained that her journey moving abroad began when she left for London through Heathrow Airport to start a completely new chapter in her life. At the time, she said she was stepping into the unknown with only hope, faith and strength to guide her.
“This was at Heathrow Airport, London, the day I left the life I knew behind to start a completely new one in a different country from scratch,” she said.
Nurse Judy said she did not have much with her as she prepared for the move. She noted that she was carrying hope, faith and trust that things would eventually work out despite the uncertainty she was facing.
“I had nothing but hope, faith, and God’s strength,” she explained.
A difficult season
She also opened up about the emotional struggles she was dealing with at the time. She said several parts of her life felt challenging and uncertain as she prepared to leave everything she knew behind.
“Aibooo, I cried the entire flight,” Nurse Judy said.

She revealed that she was dealing with personal difficulties and emotional pain during that period. According to her, fear, anxiety and uncertainty weighed heavily on her as she looked ahead to an unfamiliar future.
“My life was not lifing. My marriage was not marriaging. My heart was not hearting,” she said.
Nurse Judy explained that a lot was happening around her at the time, including online chaos and the pressure of leaving behind familiar surroundings. Despite the challenges, she chose to move forward and start again.
“There was just so much going on. Fear. Uncertainty. Pain. Anxiety. Online chaos, ey, I was leaving behind everything familiar without knowing exactly what was waiting for me on the other side,” she said.
She concluded her message by encouraging women to build their lives gradually and focus on creating long-term stability for themselves.
