Nurse Judy opens up on emotional mood swings while living in America

Nurse Judy has opened up about her emotional struggles while living in the United States, describing sudden mood changes that affect her daily life.

On Monday, May 18, 2026, she said her feelings shift quickly, leaving her either very happy or deeply low without warning. She shared the experience while reflecting on life abroad and personal challenges.

She explained that the emotional changes can happen within a short time and feel overwhelming at times. She said the shifts affect her energy and motivation throughout the day.

“My moods while in America shift like bipolar, like one minute I’m happy, excited, vibes, then the next, I don’t even have the motivation to leave my bed,” Nurse Judy said.

She added that the low moments can come suddenly and leave her feeling heavy and emotional without a clear reason. She said sometimes she even feels like crying, even when nothing has happened to trigger it.

Emotional strain of living abroad

She continued by explaining how unpredictable the feelings can be during her stay in the US. She said the emotional changes sometimes leave her confused and struggling to understand what she is feeling.

“Intense sadness, suddenly you feel like crying, and no one has done anything, like nothing triggers this feeling,” Nurse Judy said.

Her message adds to the earlier emotional reflections she has shared about life away from her family. In January 2026, she spoke about the pain of distance while continuing to live and work in the United States.

She described the emotional burden of being separated from her husband and children, who live in Tanzania. She said the situation has been difficult to handle over time.

“Dear God, I have no words left, only tears on this paper,” Nurse Judy said in a past emotional message.

She also said the distance from her family has become a heavy emotional load that she carries every day. She explained that she often thinks about her husband and their two children, a daughter and a son.

“This distance is heavy on my soul,” Nurse Judy said as she described her feelings of separation.

Nurse Judy is currently based in the United States while her family remains in Tanzania. She has previously shared that living apart from them has been one of the hardest parts of her journey abroad.
