AFC Leopards in action as FKF Premier League continues amid FIFA break

The 2025/26 Football Kenya Federation Premier League season action will continue with Round 26 fixtures scheduled for Saturday, March 28, and Sunday, March 29, amid the FIFA international break.
Notably, according to the fixtures released by the league organisers on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, runaway league leaders and record champions, Gor Mahia, will not be in action, while title contenders, AFC Leopards, will be out to narrow the gap between them and arch rivals K’Ogalo at the summit of the table standings.
Saturday action
The round kicks off on Saturday with Bandari FC hosting Bidco United at Kwale Stadium in a 2:00 pm encounter. At the same time, APS Bomet will be up against Nairobi United at Gusii Stadium, with both sides looking to secure valuable points as the season enters the homestretch.

Later in the afternoon, KCB FC will face Mara Sugar at Nyayo Stadium starting at 3:00 pm, while Posta Rangers take on Kakamega Homeboyz at Kasarani Annex from 4:15 pm.
Sunday’s fixtures will see wounded Shabana FC welcome Murang’a Seal at Gusii Stadium in a 2:00 pm kickoff. Relegation-threatened Ulinzi Stars will then host another side fighting for survival, Sofapaka FC, at the Ulinzi Sports Complex from 3:00 pm in what is expected to be a tightly contested clash.
AFC Leopards on the hunt
The round will wrap up with an eagerly anticipated fixture as AFC Leopards face Kariobangi Sharks at Nyayo Stadium, with kickoff slated for 4:15 pm. Sharks, who forced Leopards to a frustrating 1-1 stalemate in the reverse fixture, will be out to boost their survival hopes, while AFC Leopards, firmly in the title race, will be seeking to pile pressure on Gor Mahia with a win in sight.

With the season entering a decisive phase, teams will be battling for points either to strengthen their title ambitions, secure top positions, or avoid slipping down the standings. Fans can expect thrilling encounters across the weekend, with several matches set to be broadcast live.
