How to get in touch with NTSA – all official contacts

Getting driving licence updates, logbook transfers, or inspection bookings in Kenya often comes with the risk of running into online scammers.
To protect motorists and vehicle owners from losing money to fake pages and fraudulent brokers, the National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) has published a fresh warning regarding fake customer service portals.
The agency cautioned road users against trusting social media pages or website links promising quick fixes or backdoor services.
“For information relating to any NTSA service, we strongly urge the public to rely exclusively on official communication issued directly by the Authority through its official channels/platforms,” NTSA stated in a public notice posted on X on July 20, 2026.
Official digital channels and social media handles
Fraudsters regularly set up duplicate Facebook pages and fake X accounts that look like real government desks. They often direct unsuspecting citizens to pay money via personal M-Pesa numbers for non-existent help.
To curb this, NTSA wants everyone to know exactly where to go online.
For direct web support, citizens should only use the main portal at www.ntsa.go.ke or send email inquiries through [email protected].
When checking updates on social media, motorists must verify that they are dealing with “Facebook (NTSA KENYA) and X (@ntsa_kenya)” before sharing personal details or asking for help.
Any other account claiming to represent the authority on social media is fake and unauthorised.
Walk-in help desks across the country
Motorists who prefer in-person assistance or those experiencing technical glitches on the online portal do not need to pay brokers outside government buildings. Physical customer care desks remain open nationwide for walk-in help.
Road users can visit regional offices or go straight to the dedicated NTSA help desks located in Huduma Centres across all counties.
The agency listed all its approved communication lines, noting: “For service support, visit www.ntsa.go.ke, nearest NTSA office, Huduma Centre – NTSA Help Desk, NTSA official social media platforms – Facebook (NTSA KENYA) and X (@ntsa_kenya) or contact us through [email protected].”
Sticking to these legitimate channels ensures that payments for smart driving licences, number plate applications, and motor vehicle transfers go through the official system, saving Kenyans from losing hard-earned cash to fraudsters.
