Social media personality Wanja Nyarari has celebrated restoring order in her community after clearing an illegal bus stage that had been set up and ensuring the vehicles pick up and drop off passengers at the designated stage that had been taken over by other activities.

In a statement on Facebook on Thursday, February 26, 2026, Nyarari claimed that matatus had relocated to an illegal bus terminal after the official one was taken over for other uses, resulting in confusion.

“The illegal stage was at Bottom Line, and the Lianas bus terminal had been sold off and turned into a private night parking yard. During the day, it is sold off to mechanics, causing confusion for schoolchildren and pedestrians,” she stated.

She noted that one does not need to be an elected leader to create impact in the community, borrowing from her experience in which, as a private citizen, she was able to collaborate with other stakeholders to restore order.

“You don’t need an elected seat to restore order. Use your influence to build, not to destroy.

What she accomplished

Listing what she has been able to accomplish in just four days, Nyarari revealed that she not only restored order but also brought customers back to the designated bus terminal.

“I brought customers back, paid the fare for the tenants, and order was restored.”

She pronounced the illegal stage dead and hailed the restoration of order, writing:

“The illegal Bottom Line stage is dead. Lianas’ stage is alive again.”

The social media personality has been active both online and offline, using her platforms to drive change.

Wanja Nyarari addresses Ruto’s rally

She attended a rally addressed by President William Ruto in the area on Thursday, February 26, 2026, and got a chance to address the crowd.

In her brief speech at the event, Nyarari trained her guns on the area Member of County Assembly, whom she fiercely criticised.

She celebrated giving the final remarks at the event and thanked the president for giving her the mic to address the gathering.

Na G.S. akafunga mkutano! Kwani mimi ni nani Rais akanipea mic…Asante Rais William Samoei Ruto,” she added.

Her active involvement in the political event sparked speculation that she may be preparing to make her debut in politics.

A number of content creators and social media personalities have made their intentions to contest in the 2027 elections known.
